Ozstatman wrote: G'day Albanjoe, MacyJacint and PaavoQuy, to PackardInfo and glad you enjoyed the pic's. Just in case any of you have a Packard I'll now go into my usual spiel - "Could you please include your Packard in the Owner Registry together with a pic, any known history and how you acquired it"?

And G'day DigbyGwen, janessabuffy, Lakeishaeus and Larycom,

See you're all from California, and it's certainly good of to join the Site to post your comments, many wouldn't. My comments from my previous post also apply, especially if you have a Packard!

This time it's G'day to Dodie and Wanetom,
The California connection continues as well as a Pakistan portal, so to PackardInfo. Looks like things are all a "twitter", as there seems to be some sort of social network in play here. But for more pic's, go to the Packard Photo Archive in the Main Menu where there's over 5,300 more.

West,

I don't have pictures of Jim Hollingsworth's A/C BUT I was on the judging Team that examined his 1st place Beauty.

I know that his compressor was NOT on the vehicle when we were at branson. It was in the shop being rebuilt. I suspect he may have it in place (barring any complications of update, coolant, etc).

Do you have any pictures of the A/C on the 1941 Packard 160 owned by Del (can't recall his last name but he is from MN). His car is pictured on this website but I can't find it. It was in pictures I took at Des Moines Nat'l in June 2008.

I have some photos of an A/C unit of a car from the Twin Cities area, but I don't know whose car. I talked with Jim Hollingsworth last week, and he verified that he is finishing up the restoration of a 1942 120 club sedan (two door) with factory air.

There was a very nice climate (air) conditioned 40 Super 8 at the AACA 56th Texas Tour in Fredericksburg last May. Here are some photos of it. Also, for our V-8 fans there was a very nice air conditioned 55 400 there. Here are some photos of that under hood installation.

West -- Glad you got hold of Jim. He is a wealth of info. He is writing his next book on 1941-42 Packards.

JW -- Nice A/C Shots. I like the plate on this new device: "Weather Conditioner"! Nothing modest there. Changing the 'weather' -- One Packard at a time.

I wonder if Tesla ever did any consulting work for Packard in regards to his weather control machine. Too bad they didn't add one of his death rays as standard equipment on the taxis!

And to Gussiekae and Kadekaden too.

I notice that most if not all of these new members' signatures are links to websites, presumably being their work-places!
