How about these from Oswego New York (right on Lake Ontario) a few winters ago?

California has it's faults and we may fall off into the ocean next week, but thankfully, scenes like those are not likely anytime soon unless you choose to live on a mountain top.

What a bummer! Hope everyone has a snowblower. I guess you guys are getting all the snow that we USED to get here in the Rockies. Keep your gloves on, the shed full of wood, and don't lick any flagpoles!

Well more rain due in today for Calif. Hopefully no more mudslides!

But i am in New Jersey and expecting snow this evening. Which is funny as it's bright and sunny here at the moment.

Lately we've been hamered here in the appalacians. December nineteenth was the start with eightteen inches in about six hours. Seems like we get more every weekend. Right now I'm looking at twelve inches of deep slush on a steep driveway I gotta go up. I decided to take a break from the garage this winter, but I'm dying to get out there. Hang in there kev, its comin hard this week. They canceled nyc city schools for tomorrow already.
