Took off the lower seat cover. It was two layers: Padding plus cover. Here is what I found. Not great, not terrible. The hole in the driver's seat is releasing what I believe used to be foam but now resembles clay bar.

The foam in my seats was also petrified. Hence one of the reasons I rebuilt the seats from the springs up.

Hi all! Today is kind of sad. I'm selling the Packard I bought in 2010. It's posted on ebay. I'll never recover the thousands I spend on frame straightening, engine rebuilding, re-chroming, etc. but I do have a lifetime of memories.
