It's pretty much a solid casting, not a body shell like most models. Weights over 1lb. Just has a small sheet metal plate on the bottom that captures the axles. No markings what so ever. I think it was a prototype or something. Detail is pretty good. Right down to the backup lights in the rear.

The eBay Ad described it as the following:

"1954 Packard Clipper Banthrico 1/25 scale promo"

Approx 8" bumper to bumper.

Hey Kev,

Did you get a chance to contact Scott at Deluxe Auto Werks about your transmission install?

Not yet Desi, waiting until I have the transmission fully sorted.

Much work accomplished on the transmission today.

Following Ross's recommendation, I added some heat dissipating "speed holes" to the bellhousing. The hole saw I bought made short work of it. Does anyone need 6 cast iron washers? lol

I also replaced that front seal that I drove in too deep. Here are markings on that seal for later reference.

I was also able to completely disassemble the control assembly. The rear upper and lower and front control assemblies were taken fully apart, cleaned, prelubed and reassembled. I also made two changes that Ross suggested. Trimming one spring and shimming another.

Just need to go through the brake assemblies next.

What is the round thing with the four holes that you are holding in your hand? I have some NOS ones and knew they were Ultramatic but wasn't sure what the part actually was.

That's only of the brake control assembly. I can't remember if that one is the low or reverse control.
