Today an Europeanized car, dressed in Erdmann & Rossi-made suit with Landau bars. According to its license plates the car was located in Berlin.
It could well be that this 1938 (?) Packard is furnished with the "chromium-plated grille surround", known from -> a car, today located in Russia.

That's when they had the Reich's Mark, instead of the Deutsche Mark. When did they change to DM Guscha?

BDC, good eye!

...When did they change to DM Guscha?

"The Reichsmark . . . was the currency in Germany from 1924 until 20 June 1948 in West Germany, where it was replaced with the Deutsche Mark, and until 23 June in East Germany when it was replaced by the East German mark." [source: Wikipedia]

Another postcard from Berlin that shows a Packard (below) "with references of the highest lords".

Excerpt from an article studies the advertising of American cars in interwar Romania

"...The advertising of luxury cars was limited in Romanian newspapers. To take as the standard of analysis the daily newspaper Universul (it is the newspaper with the biggest number of readers and in general advertising agencies, J. Walter Thompson included, published their ads firstly here) between 1919 and 1939 (the most important period of publishing advertising for cars based on the number and repetition of publication was roughly 1926-1935) were published 102 different ads for Buick, 25 for Packard, 6 for Lincoln, 4 for Cadillac while Ford cars and trucks had 186 different ads, 180 for Chevrolet..."

To me it looks as if the one or another post lost content or parts of its content, when PackardInfo moved to another base.

See missing comment above or

-> there and
-> over there,
-> next in line and so
-> on and
-> on.
Moreover the images lost their captions.

To come up to the headline of this thread -> this link will bring you far away from home.
