I guesstimate in Russia are not less than 500 Packards, more probably twice as much. Russia could doubtless be a Packard-country. The broad popular appeal of the brand is reason enough. But a Packard club? Wrong! A contact address of Packard International? Nope. Owen is right in saying that the Packard club nearest to you is the Nordic Packard Owners Club.

-->http://www.packard.dk/

Russian Packard owners are scattered to the four winds (nine time zones!) and usually associated to local Russian car clubs. For getting parts they use specialized importers like Orlov Motors.

-->http://www.orlovmotors.ru/zapchast/?lang=rus

Other owners try to get parts via ebay and online stores.

Due to the powerful language barrier they rarely or never find a way to American clubs.

Our new member Igor is from Saratov. This brings me to the subject of "За Рулем - Саратов", a local edition of one of the best Russian car magazines, founded 1928.

Igor, to ask for another Packard owners or at least for an US car club in your area, try to get in contact with

Thanks for the answer.
I cooperate with the given magazine many years.
On oldtimer gallery I was in Moscow. I think your assumption of quantity Packard car in Russia incorrectly, by my calculations of 20-25 pieces.
Conclusion is better to buy spare parts here or through the Internet.

Good afternoon.
I am sorry for long silence. I wait for councils, the critic, the recommendation about my car.
So the final decision is accepted. We start to restore, a stage the first:
Full dismantling and дефектовка.
1. All to write down, фотать, in separate boxes
2. First of all: we remove all hinged: wings, a cowl, doors, salon, we leave a naked body which is removed from a frame, preliminary having made crosspieces, растяги.
3. Works on a body
4. If time, the area and the most important thing money allows, in parallel to conduct works on a frame and a running gear.
What councils, wishes. Criticism especially under item 1,2 since we will struggle with problems in process of receipt.

The main task: removal of a body from a frame. In a current mode it is removed: before (wings, a cowl, a forward lattice, боковины, adjoining железяки, salon, a torpedo etc.) э. We look a photo, we make comments, we advise, we criticize, all is accepted положительно+100 гр to cognac. In passing at sweeping there will be questions, want to receive the qualified answer, in advance thanks.
