The answer is to be wrong in all of the right ways.

I've found that when the house mouse starts wearing on me with to many demands that it is time to sit down and have a little spritiual heart-to-heart talk with her. Usualy take out the scriptures and have her read the following out loud:
Proverbs 21:19, 25:24 and 27:15. There are several others too.

My most humble apology for going off thread. Or, should this become a new thread?

Nothing personal, although in this medium it's difficult not to appear to be being so. The written word often comes across very starkly.

Not being a biblical scholar I had to Google your references, with these results:

Not sure that my better half, after being directed to these passages for spiritual guidance, would respond favourably.

Oh yes...i know how my wife would answer:

"How about Jennifer verse 1? Better to do what i say than work on your cars in your buddies driveway because you don't have a heated garage anymore. Would be a shame to turn that garage into craft storage."

Then remind her that as long as u are in the shop working then she knows where u are and what u're doing.
Excuse: if gone for a while it's because u had to run to get parts or supplies. Just make sure that when u return u wear to same cloths u left the shop wearing. Gufwah ha ha ha ha ha .
