Mike,

Sorry, but I don't know the guy. There is a guy in our Packard Club here who is also a member of The Studebaker Club of New South Wales so I'll ask him.

Concerning the Packard Owner's Registry, inclusion of Packards is on a voluntary basis. I don't enter others car details but I do encourage EVERY PackardInfo member to enter theirs.

Hi Mal,

The registry seems to be broken. I've tried every which way to register my Hawk but after the first "go" it never displays anything else.

OK,

I think I've figured it out. There seems to be a glitch, but I was able to get past it by refreshing my screen between each step until I got to the large page.

for persevering with the Registry process Mike. Deserves an extra for going through all that. While not fully agreeing with your comment of "As far as I'm concerned, she's the best looking car on the planet", your '58 Packard Hawk does look good!

Kev,

Could you have a look at this issue?

Ah,

Well, you know what they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

Thanks for what you do here. If anyone is interested in the location of five more P.H.s that are for sale - three mostly complete but pretty beat up and two halfway through restoration - shoot me an email offline.

Sigh, I like these cars so much that if I were rich I'd buy them all and restore them all. Sadly, I'm not. Maybe some other deluded soul with more resources than I will want one, or two, or three or all four.

While I haven't seen your Hawk up close, Mike, I've seen pictures of them in what appears to be FAR worse condition!

Oh yeah,

Those ones back east that I had my brother go look at for me are pretty bad. They make mine look great by comparison.

Still, it'd be nice if they could be saved. They won't survive many more winters outside in that climate.
