I envy you guys and girl's, in Eric's case at least. Missed last year by a week but went to the Museum anyway while I was in the US. I will try to get there again one of these years as I intend to get back to the US. To then be able to meet and greet some of the wonderful people here on Packardinfo would be fantastic. In the meantime, enjoy Warren with those who get there and sink one for me.

Eric: Glad to see that you are coming to Warren. My wife came with me two years ago, and we stayed overnight in Brian's home town. He supplied transportation to Warren for us. My wife has no interest in cars and mainly stayed over at the concert hall.

Maybe Randy will have his train up and running in the trunk of his Packard this year.

I am hoping that my grandson will be able to come along with Vern and me.

Mr.Pushbutton will attempt to be there, and drag a few more down from the home of Packard. I don't think I'll be able to line up a gig in the area like I did last year, dag-nabbit!

Well my wife just reminded my that our Annual trip to Vegas where we meet friends that come in from all over the county if the exact same week as Warren (July 14th - 20th), and has already been paid for.

So it I want to stay married, and keep on good terms with everyone we do this with every year, I think that I will only be at Warren in spirit this year. For some reason I thought our Vegas trip was the week before Warren. DAMN!

I'm pretty bummed that I won't be able to make this year as I had a great time at the last one, and it was nice meeting everyone in person. So please take lots of pics for me! I want to see those PackardInfo shirts in full attendance!

Wasnt Warren in June last year?

Kev,

Warren 2007 was July when I made my trip to the US to look at the '41 Coupe.

Kev--why not come to Perrysburg (in Fremont) instead, that won't conflict with your Lost Wages trip and you can mix it up Perrysburg style.

I would like to make it to Warren with my 34. It 'should' be done by then. Actually, it is largely done right now, just waiting for a set of coils and the gas tank sender broke and needs repair.

I thought it would be neat for the car's first public appearance post restoration to be in Warren. Unfortunately, I am not willing to drive it all the way from MN for it's first trip. Anybody trailering a car from MN and have extra space? Also, if I have to ship the car, anybody know where I might find storage in Warren if it arrives early (never really now with shipping)?

Thanks,

Tom

p.s. I have attached a photo of the car from last weeks shakedown cruise around MPLS.

Why not call the museum and check with them. Maybe you could ship it to them and they would keep it on display for a couple of days.
