My grandfather purchased the car new on June 5, 1947. He used the car until in passed in 1969. At the time it was barely running. In the next few years my Dad went through the engine and I a little laterpulled the transmission and replaced some gearing which I found from a local junk yard.

pThe car stayed in Montana stored in my Grandmother's garage until she passed. I drove the car to Colorado in the mid 8's where is hardly was driven and would not start a few years ago due to stuck and damaged valves. I pulled the head a couple years ago and replaced some valves/guides and now have it running again. Recently did some work on the shifter linkage and have the transmission working correctly again. Plan to start the slow process to bring the car to a higher level of function. Currently having issues with the car running hot which is my current challenge.
