VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
h1 Al Young from Palms Springs, California bought it new in 1953, did a off change of color to Midnight Blue, redid the interior and rebuilt the engine. He stored it in his garage for 32 years. Keith Alber, president of Packard International Club in Santa Ana, California for 3 years bought it and drove and stored it in his garage for 32 years in LaPalma, Ca. He had the transmission and front suspension rebuilt 6 miles ago. One day at church I was saying I wanted a Packard and his daughter said, "My dad has a Packard in his garage and wants to sell it because he had a stroke." I was there the next day! He let me pay it off. We got to know each other the next 8 months and he often tells me that he is so happy his car went to someone who loves it as much as I do. My mother had a 56 Carribean Convertible in Las Vegas in the early 6's. I always looked at Packards on the internet always wanting one. My dream came true./h1
