VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
pI got the car to restore, with the idea of eventually doing it for my son, hoping to gethim into the hobby.

pA shortcurious story: When I married, 2 years a go, a friend of mine, great artist, asked me what I would likehim to paint for me as a gift. I said a Packard Clipper, as I had one back then. Not knowing much about Packards, or perhaps not liking theClipper much, he made me a gorgeus paintof a 194Packard convertible, burgundy exterior and tan top. 2 years after that, I just got the car! I guess I will do it in the exact same combination my friend chose for his drawing. Was I predetermined to have it? ....

pIt will not be an easy project or a fast one, as I have some other projects I am currently working on, but it will eventually turn into a good car again... I hope.

pI have no real way of knowing the history of the car, but I will check with the prior owner registered in the car's invoice.

pI already offered my 16 year old son that he pays for 1% of the costs of purchasing and restoration and it will be his... let's hope this helps me get him into the hobby.
