Here is the National Automotive Service Data covering Packards from 1929-1956. This contains quick reference on engine mechanicals by model, engine wire diagrams, firing order, etc. This has been broke in sections by series, and by specific models.

This is the 1935-1951 Packard Trico Parts Catalog (1951 Dealer Edition). This show extended exploded part views and original Trico part numbers. The exploded part views show more detail that the factory drawings and may be helpful in showing how things go back together.

This covers all the Packard bearing related data from 1937-1949.

1939 - 1946 Tune-Up Specification And Adjustment Chart

This manual from April of 1947 was the training manual given to new Packard Mechanics in Training. It contains a wealth of information that could be applied to most Packards of any year.

The Flat Rate Manual provides labor times for specific repair operations. Such schedules are usually based on time studies performed under the most optimal of conditions and were used primarily to reimburse dealers for warranty claims.

Here is the 1941-1947 Packard Clipper Master Parts Book(also called the Parts Manual or Parts List). This piece is an essential companion to the Service Manual. Not only does it provide information on what part number is what, more importantly it provides the exploded part views that are needed when rebuilding components.

This is the 1941-1949 Engine Service Manual. This was Section V of the entire set, but was bound as it's own manual. Very nice pictures throughout the entire manual.

This is the 1942-1948 Dealer Accessory and Price List.

Here is the 1946 Salesmen Data Book. If you have never looked through one of these they contain alot of information. They were used by the salesmen at the dealers explain features. It shows color pictures of every model, and explain on the different systems on the car. This one is very interesting as it was the first one after the war and gives a little history on the company, and talk about some of Packard efforts duing the war.

Here is a Delco-Remy service bulletin that covers starting motors that use Bendix drives. This give a complete parts breakdown of all the models and servicing infomation.

This is the 1946 Packard Accessories Brochure. It listed the various Packard approved accessories that were available from the dealer.

This is the 1946-1950 Packard Service manual. It contains 7 Sections which covers all the general mechanical systems on the various 46-50 models. This is an essential companion to the Parts List (aka Parts Manual).

This is the 1947 Packard Paint Chip and contains all the paint chip and color codes for the 1947 Packard models. This also contains the paint codes back to 1941 for reference.

Here is the Service Repair and Tuneup Booklet for 1947-1949. This cover the 21-23rd Series.

These are Shell Service Charts covering Packards from 1957-1941. Contains lube information, tune up replacement part lists, and model identification.

This is a "How To" written by Mark Hill on how to rebuild the Delco "Lever Action" Shocks used by Packard.

These Packard and Studebaker-Packard Annual Corporate Reports were prepared each year for the annual stockholders meeting and distributed to the shareholders. They contains interesting information on both what occurred the previous year and also the some outlooks for the coming year. Some contain wonderful pictures of new models, new plant renderings, etc.

This is a short document describing the Vehicle Number, Theft Proof Number, and Briggs Body Number. It also describes the format of these numbers and the location of these numbers on the vehicle.

This is the Packard Radio PA-383042 Radio Facts (1946-47). It contains information about this radio as well as the wire diagram.

This I belive is a Packard Section from a Motors Parts and Labor reference manual. It contains basic information about all the models from 1940-54. It has a lot of tune up information, engine and body serial numbers. If has several exploded parts breakdown sheets that include the Transmission, Overdrive, Ultramatics, Trendle Bendix unit, Powersterring, Front Suspension, and steering. As well as a pretty comprehensive mechanical parts list.
