| During the 1920's, an enterprising young man by the name of James O'Rourke started an Oldsmobile and Packard dealership in Livingston, MT. At that time, Livingston was an important train stop. This is where 'rich' tourists from the east got off the train and made their way down to Yellowstone National Park. Apparently he did well in Livingston, as he soon moved to Billings and became the distributor for Packard for the entire state of Montana and northern Wyoming. | |||

| The old James O'Roake dealership building still exists. I took this photo a few years ago, with my 39 120 out front. The building is now used as a furniture dealership. Anything relating to Packard with the exception of the radiator shape on the facade has been removed. David Grubbs  | |||

| Thanks to Kevin Kooistra-Manning at the Western Heritage Museum, I obtained a number of photographs of the O’Rourke dealership and some information about the family. This is one of them. | |||
