This dealership was established in 1945 as Hogan Buick. Mr. Hogan died in 1950 and in those days GM would not let a woman have a dealership so they pulled the Buick franchise. Mrs. Hogan's brother, Bill Kloos and a partner, Stan Brooks, established a Packard dealership at this location in late 1950. When Packard died, K & B became an Edsel dealership. After 2 years, Ford took pity on them and gave them a Lincoln-Mercury dealership which closed June 30, 2010. |
