Bompart Packard Co. operated at 5 West Lyndale, Helena from about 1948 until about 1951 by owner Bill Bompart. In about 1951 or 1952 the dealership was purchased by Don Fredrickson, a salesman there under Bompart, and Lawrence McDermott, who re-named it "Frontier Motors" and moved to 80 West Main Street in Helena until 1954. They lost the dealership after the merger with Studebaker, and sold "Ramblers" thereafter. I got this information from Don Fredrickson, who is still alive, and lives in good health at age 98.
