| While doing research for the Dealer that sold my Packard 200, (Kiker's Packard, Plainview Texas), I came across this add in the Plainview Daily Hearld, Jan 15, 1954, showing a 1954 Packard and indicating that "Chastain" was a Packard Dealer. What information I gathered was from the newspaper add, the full address, and street name could not be discerned from the news type. I'm not even sure that they were located in the city of Plainview. More research is needed. | |||

| I notice that a lot of the "rural" Dealers had other sidelines besides being a Packard Dealer. The name "Chastain Truck and Tractor Co" is listed prominently in the 1954 add selling the "New Packard for 1954". | |||
