The 1954 Caribbean had the new type headlamp rims; a chrome trim band along the edge of the hood scoop; lower rear wheel cutouts; two-tone finish, color-keyed to interior tones; Caribbean script on the sides of the front fenders; sweep spear moldings that began above the split tail lamps and ran straight to the front of the fender pontoon, then arched up and into the upper beltline and new, integral tail lamps. Standard equipment, on this model only, included power steering; power brakes; windshield washers; white sidewall tires; power windows; power seat; dual heaters and defrosters; three-way radio with electric antenna; continental spare tire; chromed wire wheels; and wide chrome wheel housing surrounds with body sill and rear quarter panel extensions.
