The One-Ten designation was new, and so was this Junior Packard's look this year, with the tall Packard radiator grille flanked by two vertical side grilles, and the side hood louvers being given a step design. Sealed beam headlights were fitted directly on the fenders, with parking lights mounted on the fender crowns. Engineering changes were few, with revisions to compression ratios and rear axle ratios among them. The overdrive was now a Warner Gear. Standard equipment included bumpers and bumper guards front and rear, assist cords in both sedans, and a robe rail in the four-door version. |
