The Twelve received the same changes as the Super Eight: independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes were fitted; Bijur lubrication was gone, as were the rear-hinged doors. Because the longest wheelbase available in a Fifteenth Series Super Eight was 139 inches, anybody wanting a longer Packard had to take a 12-cylinder engine with it. |
