New Ultramatic in 54 Caribean. What a mess the Chrysler trans swap leaves behind. My advice is "Don't Do it" These pic's were taken with digital camera off a 35 MM pic. |

Heres another angle. This car had the infamaous Chrysler tranny swapped into it and we put the original style ultramatic back in. I don't know much about Packards but I had 3 54 Caribbeans in our shop at one time being worked on. |

Here is the 352 all rebuilt. All correct again and running. Trans was also rebuilt as well as rear differential. |

here is the torsion leveling motor I rebuilt. we also totatlly replaced all bushings and rebuilt front suspension. This is a scary job working aound loaded torsion bars. |
