This fun restoration is Betty Oberg's ride to Birthday parties and Packard National Meets. Always fun, Betty, Lady Henney, and Bernice (Bernie in the gernney) are quite a trio wherever they go. .
The nice lines on this Henney custom show the state of 'emergency' services from over half a century ago. Betty keeps her Packard light-hearted with a blond passenger (named 'Bernice') in the stretcher. "Bernie's in the gerney and she is with me on the journey" [You have to hear Betty say this decked out in her mix/match 'green' fashion outfits, quite an eyecatcher.
Here's an interesting 1952 (. ) Packard recently seen at the Greenwich (CT) Concours d'Elegance. I wish I remember more of the details, but it was bodied in Italy I believe, and was not a factory sponsored endeavor but owner-commissioned.
