Too bad about the chrome wheels, they really detract significantly from the elegance of the car. Do you know if the original dealer was Kellow-Falkiner Ltd. (Melbourne)? They were the only Packard dealer in Australia in that era that I'm aware of.

G'day Owen, A very fair comment. I agree that the chrome rims are detracting from the car and I am unable to source their origin. They are 17 inch split rims. There were two dealers in Australia at this time. Kellows of melbourne and Ira A and LC Berk in Sydney. Sporting Cars Limited of South Australia ( where the car was delivered) was also an original supply possibility. The car was undoubtedly modified RHD in Detroit. Our Aussie Dollar is so cheap to you guys that you should come out here and have a drive on the wrong side of the road, to judge for yourself. Best Regards Peter Toet
