Re: Super Eight Five Passenger Coupe
What a beauty. My heart skipped a beat when I saw this picture. In the late 1940s, my brother had an identical car, only very dark green, almost looked black. What a great car, and other than pictures through the years, this is the first time I have seen this model. It must be very rare. Does anyone know the production number of this model. Tom

Re: Super Eight Five Passenger Coupe
Hello Tom
I bought this car in June 1986 and was told it was one of five, and an early one at that from November 1936. It sold in Patterson, NJ and lived there and later on in nearby Montclair until I bought it and took it down to Virginia. It is a WONDERFUL car. Appreciate your memories. I saw photos one in South Africa with right hand drive and tan leather, it was green also, but a lighter shade. Best wishes Gunther Hoyt
