8x10 black and white Packard Co. file photograph of a 1940 Packard seven-eights right rear view, parked on street, covered in mud. Inscribed on photo back; Packard one twenty, eighteenth series, model 1801, (produced 8/8/39-9/15/40), 8-cylinder, 120-horsepower, 127-inch wheelbase, 4-door, 5-person touring sedan (body type #1392), early 18th series production, note early production features; tapered bumper ends, hub caps, louver panel medallion, B) Packard approved accessories; (radiator) grille guard, radio, chrome wheel discs & chrome wheel trim rings, C) optional equipment; white sidewall tires, D) 1940 Michigan license plate #AK-71-16, following a crash.

Interesting to see the early flattened bumper ends and wheel covers with what appears to be the later trunk emblem.
