Re: Image450 Based on the type of California license plate, the photo was taken sometime the later ?50s or after. That style plate was changed out at the end of calendar year 1969 but remains in use even today. My 1965 Cadillac has it as do my two 1954 Packard Patricians. The California DMV even began reissuing them recently due to demand, for an extra fee, of course.
