Here is engine puller I came up with for yanking out straight 8's. We work on many so we needed something reliable and heavy duty. I call it the EP-18....... MSR Cookeville TN |

I found this pristine Aluminum head for a 359. It didn't take much to cherry it out. This will go on the 359. The head sits on the back of a 54 Buick Skylark, some say the value of those is now 1/4 mill. That car has to done in time for Barrett Jackson next year. Anyway we not to experienced with straight 8's but the head holds the trunk down on the Buick. The line bore check is what the forum blood, guts and beer is all about. MSR Cookeville TN |

New Ultramatic in 54 Caribean. What a mess the Chrysler trans swap leaves behind. My advice is "Don't Do it" These pic's were taken with digital camera off a 35 MM pic. Along with not being knowledable about Packards I finally moved up to digital. MSR Cookeville TN |

Heres another angle. This car had the infamaous Chrysler tranny swapped into it and we put the original style ultramatic back in. I don't know much about Packards but I had 3 54 Caribbeans in our shop at one time being worked on. I heard these were rare or something. Oh they come and go. MSR Cookeville TN |

Does this car look familiar. It was in an earlier 54 posting. We used this pristine car to help put the Red & White 54 back together. IIt was our road map. The pic was taken down the street from our shop in Cookeville TN. MSR |
