Photo caption on back from Studebaker-Packard Corp.: Dashboards in the 1957 Packard Clipper sedan and station wagon are fiber glass with a thick, full width foam plastic safety padding overlay as standard equipment, the cars have completely new instrumentation, all instruments are grouped in front of the driver for greater visibility, flasher lights are used for generator and oil pressure indicators, the cars will be displayed in Studebaker-Packard dealer showrooms beginning Thursday, January 24, new interior fabrics in iridescent matelasse cloth are used throughout the Packard Clipper 4-door sedan, luxurious deep pile carpeting is extended to cowl kick panels and lower door trim panels emphasizing the care with which extra comfort has bee added to the new Packard Clippers.
