Photo caption on back from Packard News Service: Smart new styling combined with added safety and power features highlight the 1951 Packard line, the lower hood and 'Guide-line' safety fenders enhance the functional styling of the 'Armor Rib' body of the new 1951 Packard 200 deluxe touring sedan, traditional Packard character lines such as the famed Packard 'arrow,' bonnet 'shoulders,' and red 'hex' hub cap have been redesigned into the modern styling, powered by a Packard 'Thunderbolt' engine of 135-horsepower, the 200 deluxe touring sedan on a longer 122-inch wheelbase offers 7-to-1 compression ratio (with ultramatic drive-Packard's exclusive transmission-which is optional in this line at moderate extra cost, this engine develops 138-horsepower at 7.5-to-1 compression ratio).
