Roscoe Turner (b. Corinth, Miss. 1895-d. Indianapolis 1970), pioneer aviator, set numerous speed records, won Thompson Trophy race 1934, honored at home & abroad, setting Packard Motor Car Co. | Belonged to an elderly man who became too I'll to drive and care for the car. Didn't run when I brought it home, runs really well now. Need to work on getting the Overdrive working again and needs a steering box rebuild. |
