8x10 black and white photograph from glass negative of 1905 Packard Model N, close-up of driver's seat. Inscribed on photo back; 4-cylinder, 28-horsepower, 106-inch wheelbase, driving seat detail. Note in uncropped but retouched form this photo was used as an illustration in a 1905 Packard Motor Car Co. sales brochure; dash mounted plate reads 'Packard Motor Car Co., Detroit, Mich., USA'; button on left horizontal steering wheel spoke is a switch to cut off the spark and thus stop the engine without having to move either hand from the wheel.
