Photo caption on back from Packard News Service: The Golden Anniversary Packards incorporate 77 major changes and scores of technical improvements that were tested and proven during long, grueling runs over the 2.5 mile concrete oval at the Packard Proving Grounds as well as over many miles of other roads; gravel, dirt, sand, and corduroy, the horsepower of the Golden Anniversary Packard super shown here has been stepped up to 150-horsepower from 145, while the eight has been increased to 135-horsepower from 130, refinements provide greater stability and longer life for the new Golden Anniversary models, claim Packard engineers.
