Inscribed on photo back; Fifth Annual National Automobile Show (auspices of NAAM) January 14-21st, 1905 Madison Square Garden, NYC.; 2 exhibits on the Packard stand (main exhibition hall) the 1905 Packard Model N, 4-cylinder, 28-horsepower, 106-inch wheelbase, stripped show chassis and the 1905 Packard Model N, 4-cylinder, 28-horsepower, 106-inch wheelbase, limousine with glass front in royal blue, with yellow wheels and striping. Photo stamped 'Lazarnick Collection.'

| The photo was printed from the original negative which I was loaned by the owner (of the neg.) several years ago. The "U" designation on the NJ licesne plate was for Union County. Car was owned by some of the Bowman family who had a country residence near Branchburg, NJ. The house is still there although the surrounding area has been built up. Since you enjoy vintage photos perhaps this one will be useful. - Jim Pearsall |
