Handwritten on back: "1932 Packard Eight, Ninth series, Model 901. 8 cy., 110 b.h.p., 129 1/2" whb. Chassis. Ride control system. Detail: (Left) rear shock absorber showing diagram of 3-position (soft, medium, firm) control arm on Lovejoy 2-way hydraulic shock absorber, said arm connected by cable to control selector mounted below dash at left of steering wheel post. Note: retouched segment of P.M.C. Co. negative #1234-C."
