Started digging into the problem, found lots of mistakes.....The wood was broken, and the repair before was a piece of angle iron....This was not right, and I could not align the door proper....

Please note, Metal is on the thin side, so instead of welding , i choose to use 3m patch panel addhiesive....This gives me a strong repair, but most inportant, is making this repair water roof, and air tight..... Cedar

Before any fill, I take 3m patch panel bonding, and I fill all seams, to give extra strength, and a water tight repair
