Photo caption on back from Packard News Service: Style leader of the new 1951 Packard line is the Patrician 400 - a car to pioneer a whole new era of fine car development, sleek lines of the daring new functional body design combine with smartly tailored fashion form interiors to highlight this model, which is powered by a new Packard Thunderbolt engine, ultramatic drive is standard equipment, the new engine has a 7.8-to-1 compression ratio - the highest in the industry for full size passenger car engines - and rates at 155-horsepower, rear seat passengers sit even further ahead of the rear axle to give an improved limousine ride, lowered hood line enhances the 'Guide-Line' fenders, wrap-around, 3-piece rear window, together with a new curved 1-piece windshield, afford 'Horizon View' visibility.

Photo caption on back from Packard News Service: 'All this luggage and more, too' will fit into the spacious trunk of the new 1951 Packard models, the trunk, which has a content of more than 30 cubic feet, will hold enough luggage for a family of four to take an extended cross-country tip, the spare tire mounting has been redesigned to fit into the side of the cargo space for convenient servicing and handling, the trunk lid of each Packard model is counter balanced for finger tip opening and closing, a simple 'turn-key' motion unlocks and opens the lid, the new functional high styling with 'Guide-line' fenders, 'Horizon-view' visibility and smart, flared rear fenders highlight the 1951 Packard partition '400' shown above.
