8x10 black and white Packard Co. file photograph of a 1939 Packard three-quarter left side view, top folded, on display. Inscribed on photo back; Packard super eight, seventeenth series, model 1703, 8-cylinder, 130-horsepower, 127-inch wheelbase, 2/4-person convertible coupe (body type #1279), note special all white exhibition tires, wheel trim rings, disc hub caps, pelican emblem, deluxe steering wheel, windshield wiper blade positioning a la sixteenth series, Fortieth Anniversary Display center attraction was a special car painted pigeon blood ruby (in genealogy of gems, symbol of fortieth anniversary) with bright work plated in gold.
