If your car is missing the vehicle plate which has the vehicle number 2052-xxxx or whatever, the date and location of sale, then use the thief proof stamped on the cowl.

If you can find the vehicle number somewhere on an old registration then you can buy a new vehicle plate and stamp the number on it.

Do not use the motor number because if the block is changed you have a big problem.
