Fender mounted running lights are factory installed OEM.

Notice that they have the same V shape as the headlamps.

Standard Eights had convex lenses.
Super Eights had V lenses.
Twelves had V lenses and buckets that were somewhat deeper than the Su8s and had a fin/ridge on the top and bottom.
