To answer a prior question in this thread (by Tim Cole I believe), yes, the red 734 in post#5 is the same car as the black/plum one. That photo was taken at the Greenwich Concours auction tent where it was sold to the current owner. I'm told by someone who should know that the black/plum color scheme is the original color scheme for that car.
