The back story on this car is turning out to be interesting. Seems it's been undergoing restoration since the early 1970s. The owner bought a NOS wiring harness, new window and windshield glass, new instrument and taillight glass, rechromed the bumpers, rebuilt the engine, but never made any real progress on getting it together again.

Question - I see two different heaters, one more deluxe appearance with chrome trim. Did Packard offer a choice of heaters in 1940?
