I think you are asking about a secondary ground strap. The main ground is from the battery to the frame. The one you are asking about connects the frame and engine. It is usually smaller than the main strap, but a larger size will be better. It would also be good to have a ground strap from the body to the frame. Now would be a good time to install one, if it does not already have one.
