Paint work was also done professionally. All disassembly and assembly was done by my brother between Thanksgiving 1997 and July 1998. Again, he never before took a car apart. He did his own brake work and wiring, the engine was so good all it required was the honing of the cylinders. He converted the hydro-electric (??) windows to purely electric to avoid the hassle of the original type failing (if they aren't used regularly, they're prone to fail within a year or two).
The car was done in time to be displayed on the field of dreams in Warren in 1998... a mere 17 months after dragging it home.
Oh... and he drove it from Minneapolis to Warren, then drove it back.!!!
