wood framed packard workers

On the junior packards the wood framed bodies were faced out after 1937, and for the senior line after 1939.
In 37 there were over 80,000 juniors produced. We're the wood framed parts delivered to packard, or made at the plant? What happened to all the woodworkers, did they get laid off, did they absorbed by the rest of the plant? It takes a lot of wood workers to put that many vehicles together.
