Here are a couple of Packard offerings from the 39 accessory book available for download in the literature section. Also a photo of a car showing where it was installed. I assume these are for the junior bodies. There was a discussion a few weeks ago where it was mentioned the 39 senior cars are a whole different game as far as accessories. No idea if the mirrors carried across lines.

Mirrors were also aftermarket, sold and made by many. Those could be sold by dealers too so I expect there are a lot of other mirrors that could show up on Packards and if sold by a dealer could be mistakenly called an authentic item. Also, if it would fit and look decent nothing prevented a dealer from selling a later or current year mirror if a good customer wanted one for his older car. Looking thru service counselors Packard ran many promotions urging dealers to increase profit by selling accessories and in some cases mentioning current items that could be sold and installed on older models.
