There is no need I can envision that would require you to find a mirror with the 2 1/4" approx spacing. As long as the mirror base covers the 2 holes it will look perfect.

2". 2 1/2", 3" 3 1/2" etc would all work. Mirrors like this are attached with screws as access to the inside of the door behind the window mechanism is difficult.
