Sorry, I didn't recall the details of the past go-round.

The fuel pump arm pulls the diaphragm back compressing a coil spring in the process; when the arm comes off the high lobe of the cam the coil spring then relaxes and discharges the fuel by forcing the diaphragm back, thus that spring establishes the output pressure. I don't know just what pressure is recommended for the DL updrafts but you could call David Freer and ask him - he's the guy that is remanufacturing them. I suspect the spec for pressure for the DL updrafts is significantly less than that for downdrafts - after all they were designed to run from a vacuum tank which is essentially zero pressure.
