I got the same idea .... to release all springs and pull the clutch disc parts off. I used my valve spring tool with a little extra piece to take the snap ring out. After this procedure I could push back the rear clutch plate to make space for my "home made" spider wheel puller. First try .. goes wrong .. to weak threadet rod. With stronger Bolts (10.9) a standart pullingtool and a impact wrench ... the spiderwheel came off with a big bang. Now its easy to remove the shaft where the forke for the relase bearing sit on .. I THINK .... but I cant push the shaft out. I take out the srew which hold the fork in place. But the fork sit strong at the shaft and I cant take out the slot wedge bacause the shaft moved only 1 or 2 inch to the left or to the right side if I try to beat it out with a coppershaft. Than .. the slot wedge/Fork hit the housing. How this works ....?
