I understand from you post on PAC that you have been unable to reach Jason at AER. You might consult the hardcopy Hemmings Motor News for generator rebuilders, there are quite a few. I've never used Ace Wichicta but I know of others who have and been quite satisfied and they've been around serving our hobby for many years. Even a local starter/generator shop should be able to check your generator out as to fields, armature service, brushes, etc. What they won't be able to do without the O-D adapter is to actually bench test it, due to the absence of a front support and bearing. But they should be able to locate and fix any faults.
