Agree with Dave to go with Wolf or one of the other professionals as I expect a temp gauge for that era senior Packard may be expensive and not that readily available if something goes amiss during a repair attempt. If you do want to try yourself look thru this how to article. The procedure is the same and has been done successfully on other Packard gauges.ply33.com/Repair/tempgauge
